Belgium 21/09/2023. MLC Board Members discussed about the structure and future of the Mediterranean Lifesaving Confederation.
At the occassion of the Lifesaving European Championships 2023 in Belgium, the MLC Board Members, Dott. Giorgio Quintavalle (President), Isabel Garcia Sanz (Vice President) and Dr Stathis Avramidis (Director) met along with the ILS Secretary General Dr Harald Vervaecke and other colleagues. They discussed about the logo of the new organization, the date of the the inaugural Mediterranean Lifesaving Championships and appointed Dr Avramidis as the new MLC Secretary General. The overal impression was very positive and everyone expressed the desire to move on this important organization that is so important for advancing lifesaving sport within the Mediterranean area.
